Permanent presence in areas with an elevated level of electromagnetic radiation has an adverse impact on the human body (especially children and elderly people). The SOEKS Impulse identifies areas with higher electromagnetic fields in residential properties, (apartments, offices, residential buildings, etc.), the residential area (gardens, backyards, etc.) or those from household appliances (personal computers, TV, mobile phones, etc.). The indicator can locate areas with higher magnetic/electric field intensity. These areas are generated by household appliances, wiring, concentrations of electrical devices, industrial facilities, transmission networks, near homes, etc. The indicator detects hazardous household appliances that do not comply with Russian state and other standards.

SOEKS Impulse EMF indicator

The Impulse electromagnetic field indicator is designed to monitor compliance with electromagnetic safety standards, identify and pinpoint magnetic and electric field areas. The Impulse indicator can identify the direction of the electromagnetic field.

  • The frequency of measured fields is up to 2 kHz. The indicator has 3 magnetic field sensorsand 2 electric field sensors. Each of the sensors takes measurementsin its own axis. The sensors are directed orthogonally.
  • 2D/3D direction diagram which allows for identification of an electromagnetic source.
  • The indicator shows estimated frequencies of radiated signals, which helps to determine the nature of radiation.
  • It also displays the history of electromagnetic activity for the last minute.
  • An audible alarm is activated when the preset threshold for radiated power is reached.
  • The indicator is powered either by two AAA batteries or AAA-type NiMh rechargeable batteries; it can also be operated from USB.
